Staffing Ratio

At each of our sites, you will find that there is an 8:1 student to instructor ratio. With our robotics program, we stress the quality of our program; hence, we will spend more by paying for additional instructors to ensure that all the students are getting as much attention and help as possible.

Supervision & Safety

All student activities and movements are supervised by a staff member. Parents are required to sign in and out for each day. If a different person is picking the student up, the parent or guardian must notify the lead instructor that day.

Our robotic kits were painstakingly chosen. Not only did we want the best quality, we also wanted to find one that is intended for educational purposes. The robotic kits were specifically designed to reflect the tools and components used in the real industry. With the aid of our professional teachers, students will learn to use real tools such as screwdrivers, nuts, bolts and screws. In essence, the robotic assembly will require more than just snap on pieces! By using these tools at such an early age, your children will drastically improve and develop their motor skills. More importantly, they will be familiarizing themselves with actual tools used in the real world.

For the optimum robotic experience, each student will be given their own robotic kit for the duration of the week. That means everyone will get to experience the joy of assembling their robot without the hindrance of sharing or waiting for a partner!

Directors

The directors of MK Global Training Inc. have over 20 years of experience in managing businesses and training programs around the world. They strive to improve the quality of the educational world by providing the latest and most up to date teaching methodologies and technologies. It is their hope to prepare the young minds of tomorrow by preparing a holistic and comprehensive curriculum through their year round and summer programs.

Regional Managers

We have regional managers dedicated to managing their local programs, recruiting and training of qualified instructors in their area. At each summer camp location, you will meet the regional manager who will provide you with details of the summer operations. They will be working along side the lead instructors to ensure that your child(ren) is safe and enjoying the robotic challenges that we have set in our curriculums.

What are the instructors’ qualifications?

All the lead instructors are graduates from teacher’s college at reputable universities with a Bachelors of Education. They all have extensive experience running programs for children and youths. Some are Ontario Certified Teachers. They possess up to date CPR/First Aid training. In addition, they are highly trained and competent in the technology that we employ. On a personal level, they are fun loving, warm and attentive. They even enjoy building their own robots and competing with and against the students!

Why are the instructors needed when there are manuals for the robotic kits?

Our instructors are the backbone to the entire program. Often times, students will find the manual too overwhelming. The instructors will aid the students by helping understand the construction method by adapting the principles based on the learning strength of the students. In other words, instructors are relatable and adaptable whereas they manual can only teach one way – textually.

Aside from the teaching qualities of our instructors, they also serve as motivators and muses for the students. They help create and run unique competitions. And they will always serve as the model example for all the students.
